Editorial Vision: Our vision is to create a literary journal that showcases a diverse range of voices and styles. We strive to push the boundaries of traditional genres, fostering a space where fiction, speculative fiction, poetry, and nature writing intersect and inform one another. Our magazine encourages people from diverse and marginalized communities to submit and be celebrated for their work and perspective.
Like the reservoir in which this magazine takes its title, Morrow Point is rooted in Gunnison. Our editors are alumni of the Western Colorado University Graduate Program of Creative Writing. We strive to give current students and graduates a home for the work that comes out of their studies. The championed voices shaped through the GPCW program are strong as the Morrow Point dam and scintillating as the Gunnison River. We offer a diverse range of styles and genres, pushing boundaries across the natural land and beyond.
Our journal aims to be more than just a literary journal; it aspires to be a vibrant community of writers and readers dedicated to exploring the depths of human experience, imagination, and our connection to the natural world. We invite you to join us on this literary journey, contributing your voice to the echoes that resonate through the muse.
